Sunday (1-29)5th Grade Bulldogs @ Connersville Spartan Bowl.Richmond 44, Batesville 21The Red Devils from Richmond came out firing on all cylinders and avenged defeat to the 5th Grade Bulldogs a few weeks prior in the semi-finals of the DRBL tournament. Richmond hit 7-15 for 47% from behind the arc and out-rebounded the Bulldogs 34-21. Batesville shot a paltry 19% from the field and finished their Dirt Road Basketball season with a 13-2 record. Richmond went on to defeat Greensburg in the championship 45-34 to defend their crown from the previous season. Bradley Wirth led the team with 10 points. The Bulldogs (16-5) will next be in action next weekend in the HBCA Regional tournament in Milan.4th Grade Bulldogs @ Connersville Spartan ArenaLast year’s champions, the Bulldogs, made it to the championship game again this season before falling short to Greensburg 26-23. Will Jaisel led the way with 10, followed by Cade Kaiser with 6 and Jacob Stenger 4.Game 1: Batesville 24, New Castle 19Kaiser led the team with 12; Jaisel added 5 and Stenger 4.Batesville 25, Connersville Red 1o. Kaiser tallied 10.
