first_imgHarbhajan Singh was yet again involved in an ugly on-field incident in the Indian Premier League, this time with Mumbai Indians teammate, Ambati Rayudu during their game against Rising Pune Supergiants last evening. (Full IPL Coverage)In the 11th over of the RPS innings, Saurabh Tiwary had pulled a short delivery from Harbhajan to the mid-wicket fence. Rayudu and Tim Southee converged on the ball and despite a good effort by the former, the ball crossed the fence.Harbhajan, known for his fiery outbursts, let off some steam at Rayudu, who charged menacingly at his senior. However, it was Bhajji who tried to cool things down and put an arm around Rayudu. But the Hyderabadi batsman rejected Bhajji’s extended hand and walked back to his fielding position, infuriated.However, both Harbhajan and Rayudu were seen celebrating the fall of a Pune wicket and appeared to be in good spirits.Harbhajan has had a torrid time this season, picking five wickets from nine matches. He was part of the Indian team for the T20 series against Australia and Sri Lanka, the Asia Cup T20 and the ICC World Twenty20. However, the 35-year-old was selected for only one game (vs UAE in the Asia Cup) and overlooked for the rest of the season.This is not the first time that Harbhajan has been involved in an ugly scuffle on the field.
