first_imgGUWAHATI: The Assam Kickboxing Association (AKA), in collaboration with the Dakshin Kamrup (Rural) District Kickboxing Association (DKDKA), will organize 8th All Assam State Level Inter School Kickboxing Championship U-8, 11, 14, 17 and 19 years of boys and girls from July 11. The 4th All Assam State Level Inter College Kickboxing Championship under 24 years will also be held simultaneously at the same venue. The championships are being organized to give exposure to the State players who will participate in the forthcoming SGFI’s 65th National School Games 2019-20 and AIU’s 3rd All India Inter University Kickboxing Championship 2019-20. Six events (Point Fighting, Light Contact, Kick Light, Full Contact, K1 Rule and Low Kick) will be held in the inter school meet while there will be four events (Low Kick, Full Contact, Point Fighting and Kick Light of WAKO ) in the inter college meet. Shittu is the third player in the Class of 2018 to receive an offer from SU, per Scout, joining center Nazreon Reid and small forward Louis King.The 6-foot-8, 210-pound Shittu is ranked as the ninth-best player in the class by Scout, as the eighth-best by 247Sports.com’s composite rankings and as the 13th-best by ESPN.com.
