Five successful Donegal businesses will take part in the discussion with Gerry who has been deeply involved with start-ups and growth businesses, and because their learning has been huge, there is much for others to gain from the lessons they have to share.”Of course, he added, sourcing finance is also often a major concern for small businesses, regardless of their stage of development and Mr Tunney said Thursday’s workshop with Lar Burke of companymatters.ie will be of tremendous benefit.“Lar Burke advises business owners on raising finance and getting support from banks, investors and development agencies and his event on Thursday is without question one that every business should be seeking to get a place on.”Meanwhile the Head of Enterprise in Donegal also suggested that being in business is as much about being ready to take opportunities when they arise as it is about buying and selling. “When you act on those opportunities people will sit up and take notice, but to be able to do all that you first need to look after your health and that’s why Friday morning’s ‘Eyes on the Prize’ event is another that people should try to snap up one of the limited places on, before they are all gone.Friday’s event will hear from Susan Hayes on the steps a business should be taking to ensure it can be ready to make the best of opportunities that come along.Deirdre McGlone will explain how to make the best of the opportunities that do arise by getting your business noticed and building links that will lead to further growth. At the same event, Emmet Rushe will highlight why health and fitness are vital to any business success, explaining how the less attention you pay to your health, the more of your time and energy it will rob!”The week long programme commences at 10am on Monday 23rd March with the ‘Pride of Donegal’ event and anyone wishing to see the full programme and book a place should visit the website – www.localenterprise.ie/donegal Local Enterprise Office Donegal is funded under Ireland’s EU structural and Investment funds programmes 2014-2020 and co-funded by the Irish Government and the European Union.ACTION PACKED PROGRAMME OF EVENTS PLANNED AT DONEGAL BUSINESS WEEK was last modified: March 18th, 2015 by Mark ForkerShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Tags:BusinessEnterpriseInnovationjobsnewsProgrammeWeeklast_img
